Zusammenfassung:	FIELD: electrical engineering; designing low- and medium-power synchronous machines. SUBSTANCE: generator has current- limiting resistor and relay with two normally closed contacts; relay coil is connected to filter capacitor leads; current-limiting resistor is connected to output of one of stator winding phases and via first relay contact, to one of outputs of auxiliary stator winding; other relay contact is connected to main field winding lead and to minus lead of filter capacitor; main and auxiliary field windings are interconnected on other side and connected to pole leads of first and second three-phase bridge rectifiers.
