Zusammenfassung:FIELD: compressor plants for drying compressed gas. SUBSTANCE: in the course of drying the compressed gas delivered by compressor to storage accumulator, gas is passed through water-and-oil separator and through two adsorbers operating in turn. Provision is made for regular purging of water-and-oil separator and regeneration of adsorbent by gas dried beforehand. Purging the adsorbent in each adsorber is started when its housing is heated to temperature of 340 to 360 C and is effected by feeding the gas from the accumulator throttled to a pressure of 1.5 to 2.5 kgf/sq.cm. Purging is effected by pulses, duration of each pulse is equal to 2 min at 15-min interval, purging is continued for 3.5 - 4.5 h. After purging, heating of adsorber is discontinued and purging of the adsorbent is continued till adsorber housing gets cooled to 70 C. Purging the water-and-oil separator is effected by return flow of gas taken from the adsorber operating for drying. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 1 dwgi
