METHOD FOR DEVELOPMENT OF PLACER DEPOSITS

FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: this relates to opencast mining of deposits. According to method, operations are performed in following sequence. Deposit is divided into sections. Installed in initial section is generator of low-frequency oscillations, then this section is watered and oscillations are directed through it. Passing of waves through ground mass bring particles of loose material into oscillating motion and this results in stratification of ore and rock materials. After that, aforesaid section is dewatered, overburden material and upper layer of sand are removed. Lower layer of sand with concentrated minerals is excavated separately and delivered to benefication plant. In this succession of operations, mining of other sections of placer deposit is further proceeded. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 cl, 2 dwge
