Zusammenfassung:	FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: disc that carries cutting tool and rotates with cutting speed is imparted with feed in direction perpendicular to cutting to obtain single cut. After contact of cutting tool with sample attached to holder pulse of force of microcutting is transmitted to pendulum device composed of holder, rod, mass and hinge. Under action of force of microcutting pendulum device deviates by corresponding angle which value is measured. Length of cut in sample is also measured. Force of microcutting is determined by usage of obtained values. EFFECT: enhanced reliability and accuracy of the method. 2 dwg,
