APPARATUS FOR SMOKELESS CHARGING OF COKE OVENS

FIELD: coke industry. SUBSTANCE: invention aims at ensuring fire- and explosionproof operation with gas mixtures during smokeless charging of coke ovens. Controlled system 7 for sprinkling combustion products is disposed inside connecting pipe 6 in stationary collector 1 at distance not exceeding its length from the point where this pipe is connected to upper docking angle 5 of combustion chamber 2. This distance is chosen to be 0.15-0.6 length of connecting pipe. The latter is provided with external cooling system in the form of longitudinal channels located on its outside surface. Channels are spaced from each other by 0.05 to 0.20 diameter of connecting pipe, and their length is 0.7-0.9 length of connecting pipe. Combustion chamber 2 is lined on the inside with refractory concrete based on haydite filler. EFFECT: ensured fire and explosion safety. 2 dwg
