Zusammenfassung:	FIELD: polymer production. SUBSTANCE: water-soluble thickener is prepared on the basis of statistic ethylene oxide-propylene oxide copolymer prepared by oxyalkylation reaction of polyatomic alcohols in presence of alkali catalyst. As polyatomic alcohol, alkanolamines are used, and propylene oxide-ethylene oxide mixture in weight ratio (15-30):(70-85) is used in alkanolamine oxyalkylation stage. Copolymers obtained have kinematic viscosity at 40 C within the range 5000 to 15000 and freezing temperature ranged from 8 to 20 C. EFFECT: improved synthetic procedure. 2 tbld
