Zusammenfassung:	FIELD: paint industry, more particularly composition for protecting decorative coating of metallic surfaces. SUBSTANCE: aqueous dispersion of cross linked ester particles with acid number of 20 to 50 containing at least two hydroxy groups and ionic groups in amount sufficient to form stable aqueous dispersion containing 10 to 50% solid phase and having pH of equal or greater than 8 is prepared by mixing polyester dissolved in organic solvent or mixture of solvents with thermoplastic amino resin comprising at least two reactive groups selected from hydroxy and/or amino and/or ester groups. Polyester is further neutralized with amine solution to obtain concentration of 70-90, heated at 80 to 100 C to achieve constant viscosity and is subsequently neutralized with amine to 100% concentration. Desired additives are optionally added to dispersion. EFFECT: improved properties of the composition. 11 cl
