SUBSTANCE: in addition to main stator 1-1 with first running winding 2, main rotor 10, electronic switch, and DC power supply, stepping motor is provided with auxiliary salient-pole stator 13 and rotor 14, electronic switch of control winding 18 which function in conjunction with contactless position detector controlling relative position of stator and rotor to produce self-excited vibratory movement of auxiliary rotor 14 at constant frequency and amplitude and of movable magnetic core 1-2 of main stator carrying running winding 3, its pole axes being offset relative to those of fixed main-stator core 1-1.
