REINFORCED THREAD FOR MANUFACTURE OF HIGH-STRENGTH PRODUCTS

FIELD: production of high-strength articles, such as protective gloves. SUBSTANCE: reinforced thread has core made from at least one metal corrosion-resistant wire of 0.06-0.09 diameter. Wire is twisted with at least one aromatized polyamide thread having linear density of 29.4-167 tex. Core is wound with synthetic threads in two opposite directions. Thread running around core in one direction is based on polyamidobenzimidazole terephthalamide or copolyparaphenylene terephthalamide or polyester and thread running in opposite direction may be polyester or polyamide thread. Aromatized polyamide core thread may be based on copolyparaphenylene terephthalamide mixed with aliphatic polyamide used in an amount of 5-20 % by weight of aromatic copolyamide. Twisting rate is 3-8 coils/cm. EFFECT: increased efficiency, wider operational capabilities and improved quality of products manufactured from such thread. 3 cl, 1 tblp
