METHOD FOR HYDROLYSIS OF AMINO ACID CONSEQUENCE OF FORERUNNER OF INSULIN AT HUMAN

A process for the specific hydrolysis of the amino-acid chain of preproinsulins to give the corresponding intermediates with the aid of clostripain is described, and these intermediates can be converted where appropriate with carboxypeptidase B into the corresponding insulins.
