BUILT-UP CRANKSHAFT AND METHOD OF ITS MANUFACTURE
The invention relates to a constructed crankshaft, consisting at least of base pins (6, 7, 8) and main bearing pins, crank webs (9, 10, 11, 12) and crank pins (4, 5) or piston-rod bearing pins. The said crankshaft has a connection, produced by plastic deformation, between the crank webs (9, 10, 11,...

Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a constructed crankshaft, consisting at least of base pins (6, 7, 8) and main bearing pins, crank webs (9, 10, 11, 12) and crank pins (4, 5) or piston-rod bearing pins. The said crankshaft has a connection, produced by plastic deformation, between the crank webs (9, 10, 11, 12) and bearing pins (4, 5, 6, 7, 8), the bearing pins (4, 5, 6, 7, 8) being inserted in openings in the crank webs (9, 10, 11, 12) for connection to their ends. Such a crankshaft can be manufactured cost-effectively and with simple means in the manner that straight, externally smooth tube sections are constructed as connecting regions (18 to 22; 40 to 43) on the base pins (6, 7, 8) and/or on the crank pins (4, 5), which tube sections are inserted in straight throughholes (14 to 17, 36 to 39), parallel to or on the axis, in the crank webs (9, 10, 11, 12) and are fixed by means of plastic expansion of the tube sections, under permanent elastic pretension in the through-openings. |
