Zusammenfassung:Invention herewith explained protects a new pharmaceutical form, a bilayer tablets, with carbamazepine as an active component. Specificity of formulation is in matrix system that is made of cellulose derivates of different viscosity and other auxiliary matters making for controlled release of carbamazepine during 8 hours, along with maintaining of certain level of healing substance in plasma. In the first hour, about 50% of the active substance becomes released, and the remaining is released gradually within the next 7 hours. Such a profile of release is achieved by application of a modern procedure for making a bilayer tablets, wherein one layer includes cellulose derivates, and the other carefully chosen derivates of cellulose of high viscosity. Ovim pronalaskom se štiti novi farmaceutski oblik, dvoslojne tablete, sa karbamazepinom kao aktivnom komponentom. Spečificnost formulacije je u matriks sistemu koga čine derivati celuloze različitog viskoziteta i ostale pomoćne materije koje obezbedjuju kontrolisano oslobadjanje karbamazepina u toku 8 sati, uz održavanje odredjenog nivoa lekovite supstance u plazmi. U toku prvog sata oslobodi se oko 50% aktivne supstance, a ostatak se oslobadja postepeno u narednih 7 sati. Ovakav profil oslobadjanja postignut je primenom savremenog postupka za izradu dvoslojnih tableta, kod kojih jedan sloj sadrži derivate celuloze niskog viskoziteta, a drugi pažljivo odabrane derivate celuloze visokog viskoziteta.
