Zusammenfassung:	Aligning device for a tire component servicer, wherein the aligning device is arranged for aligning a side wall transported in a transport direction in an alignment direction transverse to said transport direction, wherein the aligning device comprises a frame, a steering roller and a steering arm for mounting the steering roller to said frame, wherein the steering roller is rotatable about a central axis extending transverse to the transport direction, wherein the steering arm is arranged for pivoting the steering roller with respect to the frame about a pivot axis perpendicular to the central axis, between a neutral position, and a first alignment position, wherein the aligning device further comprises a sensor for detecting the presence or absence of the arm in the neutral position.
