Zusammenfassung:	The present application describes lactam-containing compounds and derivatives thereof of Formula I: P4-P-M-M4 or pharmaceutically acceptable salt forms thereof, wherein ring P, if present, is a 5-7 member carbocycle or heterocycle, and ring M is a 5-7 membered carbocycle or heterocycle. Compounds of the present invention are useful as inhibitors of trypsin-like serine proteases, specifically factor Xa. Ova prijava opisuje jedinjenja koja sadrže laktam i njihove derivate, Formule I: P4-P-M-M4 ili njihove farmaceutski prihvatljive oblike soli, gde, ukoliko je prisutan, prsten P je karbocikl ili heterocikl sa 5-7 članova, a prsten M je karbocikl ili heterocikl sa 5-7 članova. Jedinjenja ovog pronalaska su korisna kao inhibitori tripsinu sličnih serin proteaza, posebno faktora Xa.
