Zusammenfassung:	Interiors of heat exchanger cooling and heat transfer pipes, radiators, etc. in industrial and domestic locations are cleaned chemically without the need of complete shut-down. A mobile tank of two compartments holds solns. of 10% hydrochloric acid contg. 1% urotropin and of 10% caustic soda. Washing by the acid is followed by rinsing with the alkali. The liqs. are recirculated by pumps through flexible connections at 40-50 deg.C. Cooling and heating of the liqs. is maintained by external air blowers and by electrical resistand heating or by steam or superheated water coils respectively.
