Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a biofilter meant for biological purification of water. According to the invention, the biofilter comprises a water inlet module (24), an aeration module (17), an intermediate module (15), a steady phase module (13), an extension metal shell (10), where the modules are multifunctional and ring-shaped, clamped together by two clamping jaws (8, 26) connected to ball couplings inside an open tubular housing, the modules being sealed by interposed polymer gaskets compressed under the action of a single axial force applied by one or several springs, or by pneumatic bellows. Invenţia se referă la un biofiltru destinat purificării biologice a apei. Biofiltrul, conform invenţiei, este compus dintr-un modul de introducere a apei (24), un modul de aerare (17), un modul intermediar (15), un modul de fază staţionară (13), o virolă prelungitoare (10), modulele fiind multifuncţionale şi având o formă inelară, strânse laolaltă prin două fălci de strângere (8, 26) racordate la cuple cu bile în interiorul unei carcase deschise tubulare, iar etanşarea modulelor realizându-se cu ajutorul unor garnituri din material polimeric interpuse, comprimate sub acţiunea unei singure forţe axiale aplicate cu ajutorul unuia sau mai multor arcuri sau al unui burduf pneumatic.
