Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a material with catalytic properties and to a process for preparing the same by using ecological methods, the material being meant to be used for the catalytic oxidation of pollutants of organic nature from aqueous solutions, at ambient temperature and atmospheric pressure in semi-continuous system. According to the invention, the material consists of a thin film containing nanoparticles of Ni oxide with the particle size ranging between 4...28 nm, the Ni oxide nanoparticles being phytosynthesized by using an alcoholic or hydroalcoholic extract prepared from leaves of Juglans regia L., by microwave-assisted extraction at a temperature ranging between 80...110°C, the extraction time being of 1...2 hours, at a plant material : solvent ratio ranging between 1 :5...1 : 20 and Ni nitrite hexahydrate having a concentration ranging between 2x 10-3 M and 1.5 M, in variable extract : solution ratios ranging between 4 : 1 and 1 : 4, the catalytic material showing an efficiency of 99% regarding the catalytic oxidation of organic pollutants, in a semi-continuous system, at ambient temperature and neutral pH values. The claimed preparation process is performed in two stages: in the first stage the phytosynthesized nanoparticles of Ni oxide are obtained and, in the second stage, said nanoparticles are deposited on glass plates, by the immersion deposition process, followed by the calcination thereof in an oven for 2...4 hours at a temperature ranging between 400...580°C.
