ESENTIAL OIL EXTRACT PREPARATION PLANT

The invention relates to a plant for preparing essential oils from most medicinal and aromatic plants, by distillation with water vapours, the oily extracts being intended to be used as raw materials in the medical field, in cosmetics, in the perfume industry and the like. According to the invention, the plant consists of a distillation vessel (Vd), a cooling vessel (Vr), an essential oil separation vessel (Vs) and several connection hoses (FI), on the exterior of the distillation vessel (Vd) there being the steam feeding and distribution system (1) consisting of a distributor (2) as a toroidal pipe with circular section, concentric with the cylindrical ring shell of the distillation vessel (Vd) and a plurality of pipes (3) assembled equally spaced on the distributor and radially arranged on the semi-ellipsoidal bottom of the distillation vessel (Vd), a collecting system (12) for the mixture of steam and essential oil, consisting of two lateral pipes (13) communicating with the cylindrical ring shell of the vessel (Vd), a semi-toroidal ramp (14) of circular section intended to collect the mixture of vapours, and inside the vessel (Vd) there is a belt (11) for placing the material, provided with a silicone gasket (9) resistant to high temperatures and a plurality of metal stiffening elements, a plant basket (4) made of two cylindrical ring shells arranged in extension of one another, the lower ring shell (5) made of perforated sheet metal and the upper ring shell (6) made of plain sheet metal, a circular bottom (7) made of perforated sheet metal, a guiding and sitting belt (8) arranged perpendicular to the axis of the plant basket (4), a silicone gasket (9) and a handle (10) for guiding and supporting the plant material.
