Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to an automated medical instrument for the insertion of a plurality of needles on linear parallel trajectories in the treatment of cancer by interstitial brachytherapy. According to the invention, the instrument consists of two modules for inserting and charging the needles and for guiding the needles, respectively, the first module consists of two rotary motors (1 and 16), where, when actuated, the first motor (1) fixed to an element (2) transmits a rotational movement to a screw (8) which is integral with the shaft of the first motor (1) and which moves a nut (7) to which a slide (9) is attached, which slides on a rail (10) fixed on an element (3) and which actuates the finger of a gripper (5) by means of an element (4) in order to catch or release the brachytherapy needles at the top, fixed in the needle magazine represented by some elements (6 and 13), where, at the bottom, the needles are taken over by means of an element (12), and after charging the brachytherapy needles, by the actuation of the second motor (16) fixed to an element (17), a screw (21) fixed between some bearings (22) and some elements (17 and 23) is actuated by means of a coupling (18), which will move a nut (19) having attached another element (20) attached to the element (2) fixed to a slide (14) which slides on a rail (15) fixed between some elements (43), and the second module supports, by means of an element (44), the first insertion module which is attached by means of elements (43) and which moves by means of an element (45) attached to a nut (30) moving along a screw (31) driven by a motor (26) fixed by means of an element (27) to an element (46), where the elements (44) are supported and slide by means of some elements (28 and 32) on some rails (25 and 33) fixed in some elements (24, 29, 34 and 47) fixed, in their turn, to some elements (48 and 49).
