COMPOSITION AND PROCESS FOR TREATING OLD WOOD ARTIFACTS AGAINST INSECTS, FUNGI AND WATER

The invention relates to a method for treating old wood artifacts. According to the invention, the method consists in preparing a colloidal nanodispersion based on red oil, alcoholic solution of a mixture of propolis and tannin and alcoholic extract of teak wood, in a volumetric ratio of 90:6:4, and applying the same in a differentiated manner, on small artifacts, by immersion for 10...30 min or, on large-sized structures, by brushing, injecting or spraying, while repeating the operation 2...5 times, at intervals of 25 h, after which the degraded wood, so cleaned and stiffened by nanofilming, is subjected to microstructural stabilization by application of a mixture of wax, paraffin, fine dust of teak wood and pigment in a mass ratio of 5:3.5:1.4:0.1, after which the surfaces are scumbled or laquered for esthetic purposes and for weather and mechanical protection.
