Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to an installation for recovering components from worn-out composite electrical insulators used in electrical transmission lines, namely: silicone rubber jackets, central rod and electrical connections. According to the invention, the installation consists of a work station (A) where the insulator is mounted with the electrical connections in a fixed support and at the end of the rod of a horizontal hydraulic cylinder whose movement pulls away a connection, a work station (B) where the insulator is fixed with the remaining connection in the rod of a vertical hydraulic cylinder, and the free end is introduced in a specialized tool for stripping by moving the cylinder rod downwards, and a hydraulic control station (C).
