Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a product intended to absorb sulphuretted hydrogen and to a process for preparing the same. According to the invention, the product is a flexible polyurethane foam with open cells, with a density of 30 kg/m3 at the most, containing polyether-urethane microparticles charged with a mixture of zinc oxide, di-sodium salt of ethylene-diamino-tetra-acetic acid and amorphous ferric oxide, in a molar ratio of 1:1:1.5. The process, as claimed by the invention, consists in that the mixture of active substances is suspended in the aqueous phase used in the synthesis of polyether-urethane microparticles, which are purified and dried, to be subsequently embedded in the hydroxylic component employed as starting material in the synthesis of flexible polyurethane foam.
