Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to O-aryl-carbamoyl-dibenz[b,e]oxepin compounds and to a process for preparing the same, to be used in antimicrobial pharmaceutical compositions. According to the invention, the compounds have the general formula (I). The claimed process consists in refluxing 11-hydroximino-6,11-dihydro-dibenz[b,e]oxepin (VIIa), 2-methyl-11-hydroximino-6,11-dihydro-dibenz[b,e]oxepin (VIIb) or 2-ethyl-11-hydroximino-6,11-dihydro-dibenz[b,e]oxepin (VIIc), with arylisocyanates, in anhydrous tetrahydrofuran reaction medium, to result in dibenz[b,e]oxepin derivatives of low toxicity and high antimicrobial efficiency, both on reference microbial strains and on isolated strains with phenotypes of multi-resistance to known antimicrobial agents.
