COMPOSITIONS FOR COATING SYNTHETIC POLYMER LIGAMENTS WITH COLLAGEN TYPE I AND PROCESS FOR PREPARING THE SAME

The invention relates to a coating composition for a synthetic polymer ligament, to be used for ligament reconstruction and to a process for preparing the same. According to the invention, the composition comprises 5...15% collagen gel, collagen hydrolysate or the mixture thereof obtained from turkey ligament or bovine hide and 0.005...0.0025% reticulation agent of glutaraldehyde type. The claimed process consists in immersing the synthetic polymer of polyethylene terephthalate type for 30 min in 10% collagen gel, fixed with glutaraldehyde, followed by drying at the temperature of 30°C, to result in a functionalized synthetic ligament. Invenţia se referă la o compoziţie de acoperire a unui ligament din polimer sintetic, utilizată în reconstrucţia ligamentară, şi la un procedeu pentru obţinerea acesteia. Compoziţia conform invenţiei cuprinde 5...15% gel de colagen, hidrolizat de colagen sau amestecul acestora, obţinute din ligament de curcan sau piele bovină, şi 0,005...0,0025% agent de reticulare de tip glutaraldehidă. Procedeul conform invenţiei constă în imersarea polimerului sintetic de tip polietilen tereftalat, timp de 30 min, în 10% gel de colagen, şi fixat cu glutaraldehidă, urmată de uscare la temperatura de 30°C, rezultând un ligament sintetic funcţionalizat.
