Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to an adsorbing material used for reducing the pesticide level in alcoholic vegetal extracts, which are active intermediaries in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry, and to a process for preparing the same. According to the invention, the material is a polysaccharide extract of fenugreek (Trigonella foenum graecum) seeds having the following characteristics: hydro-soluble polymer with a content of 50...60% mannose and 30...40% galactose, maximum 6% total proteinaceous substances, maximum 2% ash, maximum 10% loss on drying, minimum 80% soluble fibers. As claimed by the invention, the process consists in hydrating, for 1...4 h, at the temperature of 20...80°C, the polysaccharide extract of fenugreek seeds in 1...10% purified water, to which glutaraldehyde aqueous solution 25% is added for reticulation, the reticulated gel being suspended in a solution of calcium chloride, and kept at the room temperature for 4...48 h, from which sphere- or ovoid-shaped particles are formed and washed with distilled water in order for them to be used as adbsorbing material for retaining pesticide residues. |
