Invenţia se referă la un procedeu de obţinere a unor filme auto-asamblate, cu aplicaţii în industria electronică. Procedeul conform invenţiei constă în aceea că, în prima etapă, un substrat grafitic se supune oxidării cu un amestec sulfonitric şi un accelerator de oxidare, rezultând oxidul de grafit care, în a doua etapă, este supus ultrasonării în solvenţi aprotici dipolari timp de 1...5 h, din care rezultă oxid de grafenă care, în etapa a treia, este redus cu borohidrură de sodiu, după care, în etapa a patra, solul de oxid de grafenă rezultat se încălzeşte la temperatura de 50°C timp de 1...3 h, formând filme auto-asamblate cu grosime controlată, cuprinsă între 0,1 şi 2 μm.
