Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a single-phase vibration motor with electrostrictive polymers for converting the vibration motion into a continuous rotation motion. According to the invention, the vibration motor consists of a stator and a rotor, where the stator comprises a fixed parallelepipedic electrode () mounted, by means of an electrically-insulating hub (), on a pivot shaft () embedded with one end into a fixed support (), on the free faces of the electrode () there being two pairs of active plates () made on an electrostrictive polymer, arranged in diametrically opposite positions and supplied from the same single-phase supply source (), they being shifted by means of a shifter (), while, on the external face, the active plates () are integral with some mobile electrodes () connected to each other by some flexible connections () bearing some rolled blades () by which the stator performs two time-shifted actions on the interior surface of a cup-shaped rotor () mounted onto the pivot shaft () by means of some roller bearings ().
