METHOD FOR THE ECOLOGICAL RECONSTRUCTION OF WASTE AND/OR ASH HEAPS

The invention relates to a method for ecological reconstruction of waste and/or ash heaps resulting after the extraction and processing of coal, and the combustion thereof, respectively. According to the invention, the method consists in the revegetation of heaps by the cultivation of the perennial plant Miscanthus, the year following the plantation, the stems being chopped on the spot and left on the heap for covering, fixing and enriching the soil with organic matter, and starting with the second year, the stems of Miscanthus are harvested and exploited as fuel, either as such or in combination with the processed coal. Invenţia se referă la o metodă de reconstrucţie ecologică a haldelor de steril şi/sau cenuşă rezultate în urma extragerii şi procesării cărbunilor, respectiv, din arderea acestora. Metoda conform invenţiei constă în revegetarea haldelor prin cultivarea plantei perene, în anul următor plantării, tulpinile se toacă la faţa locului şi se lasă pe haldă, pentru acoperirea, fixarea şi îmbogăţirea solului în materie organică, iar începând din anul doi, tulpinile dese recoltează şi se valorifică drept combustibil, ca atare sau cu cărbunele procesat.
