Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a process and a generator for obtaining hydrogen from Al metallic wastes and water, the Al metallic wastes employed being pieces of slag resulting from the primary and secondary process of Al production or solid metallic Al wastes recovered from the automobile industry, beer cans industry, constructions or the like. According to the invention, the process has the following stages: comminuting the slag pieces by crushing, transforming the smalls into powder by using a ball crusher, sieving the resulting powder and retaining the particles with Φ < 0.1 mm which are stored into a tank under inert argon or nitrogen atmosphere for maintaining the active surface of the particles, the fraction with Φ > 0.1 is fed to be ground, the powder from the tank is used to fill the cartridge (2) of a generator over which tap water or industrial water is poured, the hydrolysis of the Na and K salts and of the Ca oxide taking place firstly, which leads to an alkaline medium with pH > 9.3 obtained in the reaction area, medium which enables the starting of the reaction between the metallic particles of active Al and the water at the room temperature, resulting in hydrogen of high concentration > 99.5 % by vol. and heat release, and a solid aluminium residue, harmless for the environment. As claimed by the invention, the generator consists of a recipient (1), a cartridge (2) with a water- and gas-permeable envelope made of textile felt, supported, at the bottom, by a support (3) made of perforated stainless steel and, at the top, by a perforated tube (7) made of stainless steel and fixed into the cover (10) of the recipient (1), a water tank (8) wherefrom water is introduced into the generator through a nozzle (5), a tank (9) for collecting the so produced hydrogen, three valves (R, Rand R), two manometers (M) and a flow indicator (ID) for the resulting hydrogen. Invenţia se referă la un procedeu şi la un generator pentru obţinerea hidrogenului din deşeuri metalice de Al şi apă, deşeurile metalice de Al utilizate fiind bucăţi de zgură rezultată din procesul primar şi secundar de producere a Al, sau resturi metalice solide de Al recuperate din industria de automobile, a conservelor de bere, din construcţii sau din alte domenii asemenea. Procedeul conform invenţiei are următoarele etape: mărunţirea bucăţilor de zgură prin concasare, transformarea măruntului în pudră, utilizând o moară cu bile, sitarea pudrei rezultate şi reţinerea particulelor cu Φ < 0,1 mm
