Invenţia se referă la o nadă sintetică, destinată atragerii gândacilor de scoarţă Ips duplicatus. Nada conform invenţiei este formată dintr-un plic () din folie de polietilenă având o grosime a foliei de 50 μ şi dimensiuni interne de 50x70 mm, închis prin nişte suduri () termice, în interior fiind un material () celulozic impregnat cu un amestec de substanţe volatile, protejat la oxidare.
