Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a method for recycling safety glass wastes. According to the invention, the method consists in passing the wastes on a roller drum, there being obtained comminuted glass and a sheet of polyvinyl butyral, after which the comminuted material is separated by vibration on a grating having a mesh size of 5..6 cm, wherefrom the glass is recovered and the sheet is further on divided into fragments and subjected to separation by flotation in aqueous medium wherefrom a fraction containing the impurities is removed and a fraction containing the unpurified polyvinyl butyral is recovered, said fraction being subjected to separation by flotation in a medium of aqueous solution of ferrous sulphate or sodium sulphate wherefrom the plastic is recovered and washed with water, followed by a chemical treatment for purifying the surfaces at a temperature of 50...60°C for 6...12 min, finally there being prepared polyvinyl butyral with a purity of 99% which is reused in the glass lamination process.
