EQUIPMENT FOR REMOTE NEUTRALIZATION OF VEHICLES CARRYING IMPROVISED EXPLOSIVE DEVICES

The invention relates to an equipment for remote neutralization of the vehicles carrying improvised explosive devices, which comprises a grenade with liquid jet (a), which, at the impact with such a vehicle, operates as a kinetic projectile, producing mechanical breaking, dislocating and displacing effects upon the car body and upon the improvised explosive device located therein, without inducing the improvised explosive device detonation, thus providing an optimal operators' protection. According to the invention, the claimed equipment comprises a grenade with liquid jet (a) whose main components are the body (1) made of polyester reinforced with glass fiber comprising a liquid (5), an explosive charge (3) and the inertia fuse (4), a metallic case (3) which provides the connection with the fin stabilizer (9), a recoilless launcher (b), which sends the grenade with liquid jet (a) towards the target and which mainly comprises the launching tube (10), the high pressure chamber (11), the countermass (12), two pistons (13) and an indexing and blocking device (14), the equipment also comprising a firing support (c), whereon there is mounted the grenade-launcher assembly (d), and which has as main components the base plate (16), a height aiming device (17) mounted thereon, a direction aiming mechanism (18) and three tiltable supporting legs (20).
