According to the invention, the bandage consists of a fabric made of cotton yarns having a fineness Nm 34/1 and elastomer yarns having a diameter in the range of 500...950 μm, arranged in a warp ratio of 4:1, and cotton yarns having a fineness Nm 85/2 in weft, double weave with filling warp in 5 shafts, with 1-5-2-4-3 pass, denting1,2,2 and a right edge ratio of 5+2. The process claimed by the invention consists in warping cotton yarns at a constant yarn tension of 43...47 gf, a speed of 214...254 m/min, denting, weaving in a narrow fabric weaving machine at a rate of at least 850 rpm, metering-inspection in the inspecting frame, at a speed of 25 m/h and 3-needle whipping in a whipping machine.
