The invention relates to a hydroelectric turbine linearly developed along the river streamline. According to the invention, the turbine consists of a flexible girdle () structurally made of some mobile links () successively and alternately connected to one another, each link including a turbine blade (), having an active role, the blades () being linearly entrained by the river streamline and other passive links () having the role of spacing and continuing, two ratches () for stretching the continuous band of concatenated links thereon, which rotate under the action of some moving bolts () which constitute both supporting and swinging axles and joining elements of the shoes, a speed multiplier () consisting of toothed wheels and denticulated transmission belts, a generator () which produces electric energy and two floats () ensuring floatability to the whole constructive structure and an optimal immersion of the active blades () into the water.
