Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a composite sintered material which may replace steel, bronze, brass or ceramic materials, in the process of manufacturing bushes, disks, gear wheels, and to a process for preparing the same. The claimed material comprises Al in a ratio of 49-8% by weight, basalt in a ratio of 50-91% by weight, and Zn stearate or paraffin as lubricant, in a ratio of 1-1.5%, the grain size of Al and basalt powders is lower than 200 μm. The claimed process consists in homogenizing Al and basalt powders and lubricant, die compacting the resulting material at a pressure between 400 and 600 MPa and sintering the same in nitrogen atmosphere or in vacuum to liquidus temperature of the Al-basalt alloy.
