Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a process for producing pellets from copper oxide concentrates by the pelletizing operation on a tray-type pelletizer. According to the invention, the process is characterized in that the copper concentrates to be subjected to pelletization have the following working parameters : 91.5% oxide concentrate, 4.0% molasses, 1.4% water, 3.1% hydrated lime, the parts being expressed by weight, afterwards the pellets are dried for 3 h at a temperature of 350°C, and then there are obtained maximal values of compressive strength of 25 - 36 kgf/cmby subjecting said pellets to an ageing process for approximately 12 h, followed by the application of a thermal treatment in the temperature range of 800 - 900°C.
