Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a source of magnetic field for treating liquids as stationary or moving thin layers. According to the invention, the source of magnetic field comprises a stator (S) similar to a stator of a three-phase linear asynchronous motor provided with a winding (b) placed in the slots, and a vessel containing a liquid (L) to be treated, the vessel being an open vessel of tray-type (V) or a closed parallelipipedal vessel (V) provided with liquid inlet and outlet valves (rand r) respectively, in order to level the magnetic field in the liquid volume, the vessel being provided with a fixed armature (A) made of ferromagnetic sheets.
