Invenţia se referă la un procedeu pentru obţinerea unui catalizator în pat fluidizat pe bază de oxid compozit conţinând molibden, bismut, fier, nichel, cel puţin un element selectat din grupul format din litiu, sodiu, potasiu, rubidiu, cesiu, taliu şi silice drept componenţi esenţiali, şi constă în concentrarea unui şlam conţinând cel puţin molibden, bismut, fier şi silice, prin încălzire la temperaturi cuprinse între 50...120°C, astfel încât diferenţa între concentraţia şlamului înainte şi după tratament să fie de 2...15% masice.
