Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a process for preparing iron oxide pigments by the reduction of an aromatic nitroderivative with iron borings, in the presence of a catalyst or NH4Cl, followed by alkaline precipitation of yellow, brown or black iron oxide. In the reduction step, a surfactant from the class of polyethoxylated alkylphenol compounds is introduced. Invenţia se referă la un procedeu de obţinere a pigmenţilor de oxizi de fier, prin reducerea unui nitroderivat aromatic, cu şpan de fier, în prezenţa unui catalizator sau a NH4Cl, urmată de precipitarea alcalină a oxidului galben, brun sau negru de fier. În faza de reducere, se introduce un agent tensioactiv din clasa compuşilor de tip alchilfenol polietoxilaţi.
