Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a device and a method for the treatment of osteoporosis in old persons, and in particular in postmenopausal women. According to the invention, the device comprises a self-adhesive strap (1) whereon there are placed some electrodes (2) actuated by an electric stimulator (5), according to a predetermined program. The claimed method consists in positioning the electrodes on either sides of the spinal column and in stimulating the same, by following the physician's prescriptions. Invenţia se referă la un dispozitiv şi la o metodă pentru tratamentul osteoporozei, la persoanele vârstnice şi, în special, la femeile aflate la postmenopauză. Aparatul conform invenţiei este alcătuit dintr-o bandă autoadezivă (1), pe care sunt dispuşi nişte electrozi (2), acţionaţi după un anumit program, prin intermediul unui stimulator electric (5). Metoda constă în poziţionarea electrozilor, de o parte şi de alta a coloanei vertebrale, şi în stimularea acestora, după indicaţiile medicale.
