COMPOSITION FOR DENTAL RESTAURATION AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

The invention relates to a composition for dental restauration, consisting of: a) mixture of aromatic dimethacrylate monomers with a structure corresponding to the general formula I: (I) 2,2-bis[4-(2-hydroxy-3-methacryloyloxypropoxyphenyl]-propane, wherein when n=0 it is 76...88%, when n=1 it is 11...22%, when n=2 it is 1...2% and aliphatic monomers having the structure corresponding to the general fomula II: (II) where: n=1...4, which is a mass percentage ratio in the range from 55 to 65% of the compound having the formula I and 35...45% of the compound having the formula II; b) a photo-chemical initiation system consisting of 0.5...2 camphorquinone and 1...5% tertiary amine NN-dimethylaminoethylmethacrylate; c) an inorganic filling consisting of washed and milled Uricani quartz, having the particle size ranging from 2 to 15 miu and pyrolytic SiO$2$ having the particle average size of 0.04 miu, and being in a percentage ratio ranging from 60:20 and 20:50 of the compounds b). The process for obtaining the said composition for dental restauration consists in mixing 12.5...13.5% of the compound having the formula I and 6.5...7.6% of the compound having the formula II, there is added 0.099...0.101% camphorquinone, then there is added 0.19...0.21% tertiary amine, followed by introducing 21...60% of inorganic filling consisting of washed and milled Uricani quartz, having the particle size of 2...15 miu and 21...60% of pyrolytic SiO$2$ having the particle size of 0.04 miu, the obtained viscous paste being passed through a homogenizing gearing comprising three rollers made of polyamide.
