PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING POLYCHROME TESSERAE AND USE THEREOF FOR PRODUCING WALL MOSAIC

The invention relates to a process for manufacturing glass polychrome tesserae, using aqueous or organic disperse systems of frit mineral pigments or frit colloidal powders of noble metals, previously diluted in order to manufacture the polychrome layer. The polychrome layer comprised between two sheets of glass having various thickness or between the support glass sheet and a thin layer of frit glass, manufactured in situ of slowly fusible glass powder, is subjected to a gradual heat treatment, with specific heating speeds in relation to the used disperse system. Invenţia se referă la un procedeu de obţinere a tesserelor policrome din sticlă, utilizând sisteme disperse, apoase sau organice, de pigmenţi minerali fritaţi sau pulberi coloidale fritate de metale nobile, diluate în prealabil, pentru realizarea stratului policrom. Stratul policrom cuprins între două foi de sticlă de grosimi diferite sau între foaia de sticlă suport şi un strat subţire de sticlă fritată, realizat in situ din pudră de sticlă uşor fuzibilă, este supus unui tratament termic gradual, cu viteze specifice de încălzire, în funcţie de sistemul dispers utilizat.
