PORTABLE APPARATUS FOR THE EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE OF A PATIENT SUFFERING FROM ACUTE RESPIRATORY FAILURE

The invention relates to a portable apparatus for emergency assistance, employed for the artificial respiration and general anaesthesia of a patient suffering from acute respiratory failure. According to the invention, the apparatus comprises an air pump (A) driven by a pumping mechanism (B) either mechanically with a direct current electric motor whose rotative speed is adjustable by means of an electronic variator, or manually by means of a detachable hand lever (2), a buffer chamber (C) for mixing the air with the oxygen or/and anaesthetic substances by an air absorption (G) by means of a piston which opens a drain path to the patient at the inspiration, upon exceeding the pressure determined by the attraction force of some magnets and some compression springs (18). Invenţia se referă la un aparat portabil pentru asistenţă de urgenţă, utilizat pentru respiraţie artificială şi anestezie generală a bolnavului cu insuficienţă respiratorie acută. Aparatul conform invenţiei este alcătuit dintr-o pompă de aer (A), acţionată de un mecanism de pompare (B) fie mecanic cu un electromotor (1) de curent continuu cu turaţie reglabilă printr-un variator electronic, fie manual cu o manetă detaşabilă (2), o cameră tampon (C) pentru amestecul aerului cu oxigen sau/şi substanţe anestezice printr-o absorbţie de aer (G) cu un piston, care deschide o cale de evacuare spre bolnav pentru inspir, la depăşirea unei presiuni determinate de forţa de atracţie a unor magneţi şi a unor arcuri de compresie (18).
