Zusammenfassung:The claimed peloid extract disclosed by the invention is based on the sapropelic mud in the Techirghiol Lake and is an odourless, slightly opalescent, yellowish-coloured liquid having a total salt content of 116417.7...118374.3, mineral residue content of 75000.1...80000.5, Na+ from 24388.5 to 25008.5, K+ from 790.8 to 960.3, Ca2+ from 82.5 to 190.3, Mg2+ from 2967.1 to 3453.1, HCO3- from 219.6 to 658.8, Cl- from 39439.5 to 41420.9, CO2- from 312 to 132, SO42- from 7184.4 to 10960, a carbohydrate content of 0.191...0.356, a lipid content of 1.36...5.15, a total nitrogen content of 0.020...0.050, expressed by mg/l, having the total protein at the identification limit and an antihyaluronidase activity of at least 30UI/ml, the claimed preparation process consisting in sampling an amount of 4...5 kg of mud, mixing it with 8...10 l of distilled water, homogenizing the mixture and pouring it in air-tight polytehylene bottles up to a volume of 3/4 of the bottle capacity, further the mud being freezed up for 24 hours, at a temperature of -18...-20°C, in order to break the bonds between the liquid phase and the solid phase of the mud, releasing the occlusion water and the mud hydration water, a slow defrosting being performed at the ambient temperature after 24 hours, until releasing the supernatant aqueous phase which is collected by siphoning, while the coarse phase is subjected to centrifugation for 20...30 min, at a temperature of 4...6°C, a rotative speed of 3,000...6,000 rot/min, the resulting liquid being collected and mixed with the previously obtained phase, the liquid volume being then measured and mixed with ethyl alcohol of 96° in equal amounts, for deproteinization, left to rest for 48 hours, at a temperature of +2...+4°C and afterwards being filtered in order to separate the proteinaceous precipitate which is removed, the alcohol being removed from the system at the temperature of 70°C by vacuum ultracentrifuging, in the same time the product being concentrated up to approximately 10% S.U..
