Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a process for preparing 2,2,2-trichloro hydroxyethylphosphonic acid dimethyl ester which consists in dissolving the industrial ester in a sodium bicarbonate solution while stirring continuously, afterwards subjecting the resulted solution to a continuous dissolution and extraction, the solution being then cooled step by step for recrystallization and afterwards the resulted crystals are dried in hot-air. Prezenta inventie se refera la un procedeu de obtinere a esterului dimetilic al acidului 2,2,2-triclorhidroxietilfosfonic, care consta in aceea ca, esterul tehnic se dizolva sub agitare continua intr-o solutie de bicarbonat de sodiu, dupa care solutia rezultata este supusa operatiilor de perfectare a dizolvarii si extractiei, apoi solutia se raceste treptat, in vederea recristalizarii, dupa care cristalele rezultate se usuca cu aer cald.
