Procedeul conform inventiei include urmatoarele etape de tratament: omogenizarea uleiurilor colectate si eliminarea acelora care nu satisfac unul dintre testele urmatoare respectiv, testul cu flacara pentru detectarea prezentei clorurilor, testul pentru detectarea combustibilului prin testul in picatura, testul cu soda caustica pentru detectarea prezentei acizilor grasi; preincalzirea la o temperatura de 120...250°C a uleiurilor ce urmeaza a fi regenerate; adaugarea unei baze tari, in solutie apoasa, in proportie de 1... 3% baza pura, in masa de ulei lubrifiant; deshidratarea si extractia hidrocarburilor usoare; extractia si recuperarea motorinei prin stripare; extractia impuritatilor prin distilare fractionata sub vid, rezultand pe de o parte, uleiuri de baza lubrifiante si un reziduu continand impuritatile, pe de alta parte.
