Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a process for joining conveyer belts having some cold vulcanized cord steel insertions in their structure The process consists in that the steel cords (2) of the strength structure (1) and the belt are cut along a line (k), the ends (e,f,g, h) of the cord ( 4, 4', 5, 5" ) at the ends (c, d) of the conveyer belt are joined and spliced and in the gaps created in-between the pairs of joined cords (4,4') and (5, 5') there are placed some contact rubber strips (3) and then the steel cord structure (2), the strips (2), the strips (3), and the contact surfaces of the wearing layer (a) and the running layers (b) are brush-coated with an adhesive solution known per se, said layers overlapping the cord insertion (2) after having applied a pressure ranging from 10 to 35 kgf/cm2 for 45 minutes for cold vulcanization, four strands are taken away after having been severed from the end (e) of the cord (4), three other strands being taken away from the end of the cord (4), all the said strands are joined in pairs and spliced afterwards |
