"ELEROFIL 10" machine - pc block interface

The invention refers to an ELEROFIL 10 - PC block interface designed to transmit and receive data from the ELECTROFIL 10 wire electro-erosion machine to a PC computer, with a parallel port, which is capable to control a standard printer. The address register (1) creates the address bus (A0-7), the output data register (2) creates the data bus (DC0-7), and the input data register (3) stores the 8-bit information taken from the numerical control which will be received by the PC computer (7) in groups of 4 bits each, with the help of the 2x1 multiplexer (4). The selection commands for the 2x1 multiplexer (4) and the loading in the registers (1, 2 and 3) are given by the control decoder (6). The strobe pulse shaper (5) creates the synchronisation signal (MSYN) with the duration of 2μs, that is necessary for the correct functioning of the machine.
