Pulse generator

The invention refers to a pulse generator and is an improved version of the patent RO 109139, which is designed to initiate the discharge in metal vapour lamps. The pulse generator is made up of a unit of capacitive elements (BC) that accumulates energy from the supply network, a unit (BCD) that controls its discharge on the primary coil of a potential transformer (TR), a discharge synchronisation unit (BSD), with the waveform of the supply voltage going through the maximum, a delay unit (BT) designed for sequential operation, a unit for adjusting the impulse parameters (BR) and a cut-off unit (BS) that is connected in parallel to the feeding terminals and is designed to cut-off the impulse from the generator's circuit.
