Zusammenfassung:The prodn. comprises extn. from one pt. by wt. of dried plant flowers, in three successive stages each of 8 hrs duration. The solvent ratios are 8:6:6 (by vol.) and the extn. stages occurs at room temp. A lower alcohol or acetone (40-60 per cent) is included and the combined extracts are concentrated under vacuum at 50-70 deg.C. This gives a 1:0.7 (plant extract) ratio, to which is added 30 per cent of propylene glycol or glycerine, and 0.02 per cent of aq. phenyl mercuric borate soln.
